Last updated October 12, 2026

This policy explains what personal information DJ on AIR, operated by MOWA LABS LLC, collects, how we use it and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, password (stored hashed) and your role (Host or Resident).
  • Profile content: for Residents, stage name, bio, genres, photos, demo mixes, pricing and availability.
  • Bookings and messages: event details, chat messages, shoutouts, reviews and dispute reports.
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive limited details such as card brand, last four digits and payout status, but never your full card number.
  • Technical data: IP address, device and browser type, and logs needed to secure and operate the Service.

2. How we use it

  • to create your account, run bookings, chat and live sets;
  • to process payments and pay out Residents;
  • to send service emails and in-app notifications about your bookings;
  • to review Resident applications, moderate content and resolve disputes;
  • to prevent fraud and abuse and keep the Service secure;
  • to understand and improve how the Service is used.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed:

  • With the other party to a booking (for example your name and event details).
  • Service providers that run the Service for us: Stripe (payments), LiveKit (live audio), our database and hosting providers, and Cloudflare (network and security).
  • Legal and safety requests, where we believe disclosure is required by law or needed to protect users or the Service.

Public Resident profiles, including photos, demo mixes and reviews, are visible to anyone who visits the site.

4. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to protect the Service. We do not use them for third-party advertising.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active and as long as needed to provide the Service. After you delete your account we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where we must keep records (for example payment and tax records, or to resolve disputes and prevent fraud).

6. Security

We use measures such as encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls. No system is completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

7. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your details in your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to certain processing.

To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity first.

8. Children

The Service is for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. International transfers

Our providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here, update the date at the top, and notify you of material changes. See also our Terms of Service.
